Kolkata) in India   1. Delivery shall be made within six months of close of booking; it shall only be through insured parcel. No hand delivery. Separate forms must be submitted for each type of coin set. This new trend that has emerged by the booking of old coin sets and restrike of coins sets has put the collectors into a dilemma. What will be the packing of the new coin sets delivered, will there be any difference in the strike of the mint. Why the delay in delivery and why there is no hand delivery.  If a collector has to book all the six sets he has to fill six forms. Why can’t the mint offer a single PDF down load form with more simple details? It seems the SPMCIL is also keen to make quick money on the false demand projected by some group or agency as to the re-booking and re-strike of old coin sets.

Can the mint furnish some basic details as to how many coins were struck in the first lot of booking in Proof and UNC sets? Send your feed back to stampstodayindia@gmail.com
